The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is committed to rural and remote health. It established the Rural and Remote Pharmacy Workforce Development Program (RRPWDP) in recognition of the key role pharmacists play in maintaining the health of all Australians, particularly in rural and remote Australia. The aim of the RRPWDP is to implement strategies to strengthen and support the rural and remote pharmacy workforce in Australia. The Program is funded by the Department of Health and Ageing and is managed by the Pharmacy Guild of Australia.
